This print is inspired by textiles originally made by Oberkampf & Cie in the years 1760-1860. Fan-shaped arches, each with a different flower, leaf. The pattern shows varied combinations of green, orange and red, which all together create a toned-down composition.
The idea came from the digitalised collection of Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum which is located in New York, USA. The only museum in the country committed only to historical and contemporary design.
